By the way, I posted this in 2014 in this thread:

It would be nice to hear from a developer about whether this is going to be added. Thanks
I'm signed in the same, so don't even know why I'm 'anonymous' today, but I do know you should save your votes for something else that might actually happen. I've never been to a support site that doles out an allotted number of votes! That's just BS.
For all the people urging others to vote on this, forget it, it's not going to happen. Every couple of years you'll see a post like this:

Thank you for reaching out to us. We try to accommodate to all our users needs as best as possible. In regards to the backup of the webmixes, we are currently working with developers to achieve this goal and hope to have it soon in the near future.

But, now it's a year later. A simple XML approach could have been coded in the first year, so for their own reasons, they have no intention of adding backup. I've seen this site go down more than once. It's simple for anyone who values their time and work: no backup, no Symbaloo.
Yes, we've ask for this for years now. Without backup, Symbaloo and the time taken to set up a page cannot be undertaken.

This has been asked for as long as symbaloo has been online. It's incomprehensible why Symbaloo doesn't get that after hours of creating our spaces, we need to be able to back them up! A very simple XML backup would suffice, but there is no way I will spend time or money on this until I have a means of backing my work up.
